Literacy, the ability to read and write is the most important skills children learn in school. this fact was recognized in 1965 by the united nations educational scientific and cultural organization. When it created international literacy day. We appreciate and promote this day by organizing literacy week in the school in order to give our children the opportunity to read many different genres of texts such as poems, short story, novels, fiction and non-friction, and so on. They also engage in creative writing, book sales and reports.
